Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Office Based

Salary Range: €30,000 - €35,000 per annum

Role Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our busy marketing team. In this role, you will support the planning and execution of our promotional campaigns across digital media, print, local agricultural events, and sponsorship activities. This is an ideal position for a candidate who combines a passion for marketing with an interest or background in Irish agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

• Digital & Social Media: Manage day-to-day social media, creating engaging content (video, imagery & graphics).

• Content & Print: Assist in preparing and proofreading promotional materials.

• Events & Shows: Coordinate Dovea Genetics’ presence at key agricultural events (agricultural shows, open days, and mart events).

• Website Management: Keep the Dovea Genetics website updated with news, sire updates, and seasonal campaigns.

• Sales Support: Provide administrative and creative support to the team in Dovea.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or Agricultural Science with a marketing focus.

• Experience: 1–2 years in a marketing, communications, or digital content role preferred (graduate/entry-level applicants with strong placement experience will also be considered).

• Agri-Knowledge: A solid understanding or working knowledge of the Irish dairy and beef sectors is strongly preferred.

• Digital Skills: Knowledge of digital tools & software would be an advantage.

• Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

• Travel: Full Irish Driving Licence.
